What Is It?

The Tactilite is a complete upper assembly that converts any AR-15 style lower into a precision, big-bore, bolt-action rifle.

  • Complete. The Tactilite is a complete upper assembly.  It includes the upper receiver, bolt-action, barrel, muzzle brake and handguard.

How It Works

Converting Your AR into a Tactilite is simple and requires no special tools or skills.

  • Take off the standard upper from your AR, as usual.
  • Substitute the provided heavy-duty hammer and spring.
  • Remove the buffer assembly, buffer pin and disconnector.
  • Reattach the Tactilite upper onto the lower.
  • Enjoy.

Tactilite Advantages

With so many advantages at an affordable price, we make it easy for you to choose the Tactilite.

  • CNC-Machined From A Single Piece of Stock. The Tactilite upper receiver starts as a 20 lb piece of steel and ends as a 3.5 lb precision component.  Simply, no other production method can deliver greater strength and accuracy.  Beware of cheap imitations using cast or welded parts.
  • Integrated Scope Rail. The Tactilite features a scope rail that is machined directly in the upper receiver for perfect barrel-alignment and unmatched strength.  Watch this video of our how other scope mounts can flex and shift under the stress of fire.
  • Free-floating Barrel. All Tactilite models feature a standard free-floating barrel, for greater accuracy.
  • CeraKote Finish. The Tactilite features a standard black CeraKote finish.  CeraKote is one of the most durable and finest looking firearm finishes available. For a little bit more money, you can customize it with a range of colors and stencils.  Our custom finisher does great work- go ahead challenge him.
  • Affordable. Configured with a Lothar-Walther barrel, the Tactilite is the one of the most accurate single-shot big-bore rifles on the market, but priced hundreds of dollars less than our competitors.
  • Rugged, reliable and virtually maintenance free. Simple design, solid parts, precision manufacturing and a CeraKote finish make the Tactilite a tool that you can count on, no matter what the situation or environmental conditions.
  • Light-weight. The typical Tactilite upper weighs about 15 lbs.  Fully configured with lower, scope and bipod, it weighs about 20 lbs.  Is light weight an advantage?  Only if you ever plan on picking it up.
  • More Choices.  Choose from a variety of chamberings, barrels, lengths and left/right-hand options.  Don't see what you like?  We're a custom shop and would be happy to work with you and building the Tactilite to fit your needs.

  • T1 (Single Shot) or T2 (Magazine Fed)
  • Super Match is our competition-grade configuration featuring a Lothar-Walther Super Match barrel and built to achieve sub-1/2 MOA with match ammo.
  • Duty is our LE/MIL configuration with a "standard" Lothar-Walther barrel and priced to fit most department budgets.
  • Ultralite is our value configuration, featuring a Mossberg barrel.  An outstanding bargain, the Ultralite is our most popular line.
