Congratulations! To Britain's Cpl. Craig Harrison, new world record holder of the farthest documented kill shots. The distance to Harrison’s two targets was measured by a GPS system at 8,120ft, or 1.54 miles. The previous record for a sniper kill is 7,972ft, set by a Canadian soldier who shot dead an Al-Qaeda gunman in March 2002. Cpl. Craig Harrison accomplished this amazing using the impressive .338 Lapua Mag. cartridge.
Accuracy International OEM. Accuracy International will supply Zel Custom with magazines for the T2 chambered in the .50 BMG and .338 Lapua Mag. Zel Custom will be the world's largest OEM supplier of Accuracy International .50 BMG magazines. We're extremely proud of this relationship, because AI's support for the T2 is a testament to the quality of the instrument and it allows us to provide our customers with the world's finest big-bore magazines.

Tim North builds some of the best and most carefully crafted barrels in the industry that have garnered international acclaim for accuracy. The Tactilite is a complete upper assembly that converts any AR-15 style lower into a precision, big-bore, bolt-action rifle.

Complete. The Tactilite is a complete upper assembly. It includes the upper receiver, bolt-action, barrel, muzzle brake and handguard. We even include a heavy-duty hammer and spring, which you can install at your option.
Simple. Swap the existing upper for the Tactiliteupper. Using our illustrated instructions, conversion takes less than 5 minutes and requires no special tools or skills.
Perfect. The Tactilite is perfect for extra lowers that you may have. Or for a reason to buy a another lower.
Affordable. The Tactilite is the best, most affordable way to get into a .50 BMG, .416 Barrett or .338 Lapua.
Easy & Private. The Tactilite is a firearms accessory, so it does not require federal background checks, paperwork, license or a gun dealer. It ships right to your door.

How It Works

Converting Your AR into a Tactilite is simple, takes less than five minutes, and requires no special tools or skills.

Using our simple, illustrated instructions, remove the bolt catch, disconnector and buffer assembly from your standard AR-15 or M4 style lower receiver.
Optionally, substitute the heavy-duty hammer and spring (supplied).
Attach the Tactilite upper onto the lower receiver at the lugs (just like any other upper).
Enjoy.

CNC-Machined From A Single Piece of Stock. The Tactilite upper receiver starts as a 20 lb piece of steel and ends as a 3.5 lb precision component. Simply, no other production method can deliver greater strength and accuracy. Beware of cheap imitations using cast and/or welded parts.
Integrated Scope Rail. The Tactilite features a scope rail that is machined directly in the upper receiver for perfect barrel-alignment and unmatched strength. Watch this video of our how other scope mount / rail combinations can flex and shift under the stress of fire.
Free-floating Barrel. All Tactilite models feature a standard free-floating barrel, for greater accuracy.
CeraKote Finish. The Tactilite features a standard black CeraKote finish. CeraKote is one of the most durable and finest looking firearm finishes available. For a little bit more money, you can customize it with a range of colors and stencils. Our custom finisher does great work- go ahead challenge him.
Affordable. Configured with a Lothar-Walther barrel, the Tactilite is the one of the most accurate and affordable big-bore rifles on the market. The Tactilite costs hundreds of dollars less than similarly featured complete rifles.
Rugged and reliable. Simple design, solid parts, precision manufacturing and a CeraKote finish make the Tactilite a tool that you can count on, no matter what the situation or environmental conditions.
Light-weight. The typical Tactilite upper weighs about 15 lbs. Fully configured with lower, scope and bipod, it weighs about 20 lbs. Is light weight an advantage? Only if you ever plan on picking it up.

Super Match is our competition-grade configuration featuring a Lothar-Walther Super Match barrel and built to achieve sub-1/2 MOA with match ammo.
Duty is our LE/MIL configuration with a "standard" Lothar-Walther barrel and priced to fit most department budgets.
Ultralite is our value configuration, featuring a Mossberg barrel. An outstanding bargain, the Ultralite is our most popular line.
